Samantha Carmean is a health and wellness coach, who focuses on eliciting lifelong change from her clients through process-based coaching. Her lifelong study of movement began at age 3 in her first ballet class, and she went on to graduate cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Dance and Choreography. Upon graduation, she earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist distinction through the NSCA. She is also a Strong First 2 kettlebell instructor, a Precision Nutrition certified coach and a Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms.)

The long and short of all of those fancy qualifications is that she has an unwavering, lifelong love for how the human body operates. It’s been her mission to understand and explore the potential of her own abilities, and now she is privileged enough to help others to do the same.

“Mindful meathead” is the attitude with which she coaches clients and executes her own training. It’s her philosophy on how to approach the bar, kettlebell, yoga mat, subway station, coffee line. It’s the idea of infusing every small moment in life with sound purpose and strength – and it’s her hope to inspire you to do the same.
